What we make
Three ranges are in development: dining, bedroom and living. None is for sale yet. What follows is design direction — how we're thinking, not a catalogue.
The philosophy is short: solid hardwood in every component, joints that can be named, proportions taken from the rooms people here actually live in, and a full specification published per piece before it ships. If a piece can't carry its spec sheet proudly, it doesn't ship.
RNG-01 / dining
Dining
Tables sized from NZ/AU seat counts and room clearances, not showroom floors. Full-stave solid tops, movement-tolerant fixings, chairs specified for daily use rather than styling shots.
Trade-off, stated: a solid top needs 900 mm of clearance to a wall to be usable and will shift a few millimetres across its width each year. We design for both; we won't pretend either away.

RNG-02 / bedroom
Bedroom
Beds in actual NZ/AU sizes (a NZ king is not a UK king), with published slat specifications and solid drawer boxes in the storage pieces — the places board usually hides.
Trade-off, stated: solid bed frames are heavy and arrive as components requiring assembly. We'll say exactly how many steps and what tools before you order.

RNG-03 / living
Living
Armchairs, coffee tables and sideboards. Upholstered pieces are built on hardwood frames we'd be happy to show you bare — and the spec sheet will include the frame, webbing and foam, not just the fabric.
Trade-off, stated: a hardwood-framed armchair costs more than a stapled softwood one and you can't see why from the outside. That's exactly why we publish the inside.

the honest bit
Solid hardwood costs more than board furniture, moves with the seasons, and dents where laminate wouldn't. We think those are the right trade-offs for a 10–20 year purchase; if they're not right for yours, our wood guide will still help you buy well elsewhere.
